The man closed his eyes, waiting for the end to come.

But then, just as the giantess was about to bring the boulder crashing down, something unexpected happened. A blur of motion caught her eye, and she saw a figure dashing towards her from the shadows. It was another giantess, this one even taller than she was. She looked at the man, confusion and anger warring on her face. The two giantesses circled each other warily, their eyes locked in a battle of wills. Finally, the second giantess made her move. With a powerful lunge, she launched herself at the first giantess, her massive fists aimed at her chest. Throughout the battle, the man lay there, watching in terror as these two behemoths fought over him. He could feel the ground shaking beneath him as they struggled, their power almost unimaginable. Finally, the second giantess lowered her head, her voice barely a whisper. "Because he is my brother," she said. The first giantess's eyes widened in surprise. "Your brother?" she repeated, her voice incredulous. "And you, a giantess, have a human brother?" The second giantess nodded silently, her eyes filled with sadness. "Then he is free to go," the first giantess said, releasing her grip on the man.

The Aftermath

The man scrambled to his feet, grateful to be alive. He turned to thank the first giantess, but she was already gone, disappearing into the shadows. He looked at the second giantess, his eyes wide with disbelief. "You're really my sister?" he whispered. She nodded, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "But how?" he asked, still trying to process the impossible. She reached out and touched his cheek gently, a small smile playing on her lips. "That's a story for another time," she said, before turning and disappearing into the night, leaving her brother alone in the alleyway, pondering the mysteries of their shared past.
