Pandoza - Water Disaster
And how? How did this happen? What had happened? For Sam, her eyes fluttered open and she was on her back in shallow water. She felt a breeze playing over her wet skin, as water lapped around her. The sky was overcast, a flat light that was somehow comforting. The sky seemed close. There was something on her body. Maybe a few things. She lifted her head slightly and saw small grey objects resting on her. One caught in the valley between her breasts, another perched precariously on her nipple, and one on her belly. What were they? In her groggy state they almost looked like twigs, but they had a regularity to them, a structure. Toy boats? Sitting up a bit more she pushed herself onto an elbow. The ground under the water had an incredibly soft thin layer, with with a firmness under it. There was no land in sight. The water was salty.
CRACK CRACK CRACK!
Tiny explosions erupted along her side. Little flashes of fire and smoke. They were hot, and they tickled and pricked. There were other toys in the water. Toys? Ships. They bobbed in the rough water she made as she moved. The scale was wrong, the water was flat, the waves minuscule, the water rushing off her body looked like waterfalls not droplets. Battleships! Tiny battleships, and they were opening fire at her.
